Dishes

These dishes are ideal for use as a soap dish, spoon rest, sweets/food treats or jewellery. Each dish is hand-built from a slab and then altered. The white dishes with orange or blue fish dishes are decorated with a technique called Mishima, where the design is carved, glaze painted and then wiped to leave the glaze in the grooves. The blue dishes with white fishes are decorated with a technique called sgrafitto where the blue glaze is applied and the design carved exposing the colour of the clay underneath. Dishwasher safe.
